As detailed in my last blog post, Ozempic drastically changed my relationship with food. Unfortunately, while I may have lost some weight, I now find food to be a burden rather than a joy. And that’s sucking the fun out of life for me.
Turns out, I’m not alone. The day we left for our U.K. vacation, People published this article about how Ozempic impacts the joy of eating. Hubster told me about it, and I brought it up damn near every meal. I experienced almost no joy while eating in a new part of the world. Talk about a vacation buzzkill for a lifelong foodie.
In a future post, I’ll write about why I’m skeptical of Ozempic even as I’m currently taking it. And next week, I’ll write about how London needs serious work on accessibility.
